The CorePlanner team is pleased to introduce a new and free application for teachers- designed specifically to use with the Common Core State Standards, CCSS. Its a tool teachers can use at their own pace and in their own way.
Teachers will be able to prove that they are meeting the standards through the use of the coreplanner.com educational website. No downloading is required ! We have built a secure and private site helping teachers to simplify the process of designing instruction for standards-based learning.
By starting now, you’ll gain valuable knowledge and develop expertise by 2014 !
This handy application advances quick understanding of the standards in two ways: 1) By matching and synchronizing your lesson plan(s) with the standards; 2) By browsing our CCSS library of standards and topics, you can gather new ideas and choose topics that you want covered, then match a lesson plan accordingly. This accommodates your preference of starting broadly or narrowly with a topic or set of topics !
Teachers will gain valuable knowledge of the new standards while learning at their own pace. Our program illustrates how your best practices synchronize with the standards. This will help you comprehensively prepare before full implementation of the standards take place in Fall of 2014.
The majority of school districts in the states adopting the standards are presently implementing the standards in various ways in the 2011-2012 school year. CorePlanner is a step in the right direction for teachers wishing to excel in the CCSS now.

Develop your instructional program to explore & apply the standards in two important ways:
* The CorePlanner library offers a searchable, quick reference guide allowing you to find CCSS by grade, subject and topic. This will give you a broad picture of the standards & the ability to narrow down broad ideas into your learning objectives & goals.
* The Create Lesson Plan feature allows you to create your lesson, choose the topics you want to cover & then CorePlanner gives you possible corresponding standards to choose from.
Given the large amount of information regarding the standards, learning at your own pace will help you gain expertise quickly & efficiently.

After you register and login, all you have to do is:
* Press the my account tab
* Go to classes and press the add new classes tab (features- print, save, archive )
* Press the create lesson plan tab
